Starfish Social Club Strengthening social and academic competencies, one unique learner at a time

3rd-5th grade groups

We offer social groups for school-aged students multiple days a week for 2 hours at a time. Days and hours vary based on the age of the student and group availability. All classes are held between 4:00 and 7:00. Extra events and activities are offered on most weekends. All groups and events are scheduled in 2-hour blocks. Most students attend class once a week; some students attend 2 times a week.

Students who attend evening groups must have average to above average verbal skills and be able to participate in small group direct instruction with a 5:1 ratio. We do welcome students with behavioral challenges as long as they have a desire to learn and practice new skills.

Current openings: 3

The groups consist of structured social lessons around a specific concept, structured games/activities, and student-led social activities. The ratio for all groups is a maximum of 5:1.

We also offer multiple weekend activities each month. Examples include outdoor movies, DoSeum, Witte, Magik Theatre, etc. These are optional and students can attend as many as they choose.

Cost structure:

Evening groups are $200 per month. There is a discount for students who attend more than once a week and for siblings. Weekend activities are a separate cost.
